reverser drained of fluid
I had an employee, who operated my jd440 icd why I was gone and stood the machine on its back drivers and came down so hard, that he broke the front counter weight off. Lucky for me, I had another and was in town to fetch it. After repairs, and the firing of the said employee, I operated the machine...

unfortunately, oil pressure gauge has always been broken. The engine runs fine, fired right up and put in a good 6 hour shift pulling logs and pushing debris all over. another 440 Never thought of checking the oil, as I had filled the oil only 2 hours before the problem occurred. I was surprised tha...

well folks here is the result. We cleaned and inspected all the fuel line, checked the air filter and pulled the blower and made sure it was ok. it checked out fine. 80It was cold and we decided to put the tiger torch under the beast and heat it up, before trying to start it. We had the valve cover ...

if the blower was faulty, would there not be some indication, such as noise, some bangs or squeaks. The machine was running great when I got it, and I did have to repair the blower when i first acquired the beast. I have a spare blower, from a donor machine I was able to acquire, perhaps I should re...

I stopped the machine and left the engine idle and slowly it stopped running, it never had done this before. I started ...

Engine does not have enough power
Hello all
I ran my jd440icd out of fuel. When I added fuel and got it running ithe engine did not rev up to normal operating seed. I noticed that the fuel pump was leaking. Could this be the issue? Is there a way to hook up an electric pump? Is there any one that has done it already?

Why I should do, it, and what is considered a normal pressure ? How would i go about doing this test and what is it actually testing? Additionally, when i put atf ...
