After that the rod slid out after taking pin out of the arm inside, pulled the rod from the outside out. There yo...

Re: 450c leaking
So I took the battery box out, opened up steering clutch cover. I see the brake pin shaft that goes out steering clutch where it’s leaking, i barely see the tiny seal from the outside I just don’t know how to get the pin out to charge the seal, also don’t see the bushing. Looks like only way for pin...

Re: 450c leaking
I saw number 15. So hard to tell but I’m guessing that’s the only seal on that side! Thank you appreciate it

450c leaking
Have a 76 450c I just redid, it’s leaking where the brake goes into the steering housing. I can’t find the seal anywhere on jd parts or service manual. Any ideas?

Re: Hydraulics whining
So it’s deadheading at 1750 psi, but just kills if you continue holding it

So the boss 90 where the test port coming off the pressure side is no longer on the new boss, looking in manual but don’t see another place you can test it.

Hydraulics whining
76 450c with 6 way blade, just had control valve completely rebuilt, problem im having is when cylinder is either fully all the way in or all the way out the valve block starts screaming until let off. Seems like relief valve should be dumping at that point. Any ideas?

Re: 450c pinion shaft
7/16 for the next person, weird both screws holding the brake drums to the pinion for the final drive were both broken towards the ends. Guessing they take so much abuse?

Re: 450c rebuild
Big air impacts and pry bars lol, my real question is how do you get the brackets off without removing steering housings? They slide up and down the rear crossbar but either hit the track frame or transmission.

450c rebuild
Have a 76 450c that I’m going through undercarriage, bought a parts dozer and swapping everything over. The two pieces that hold the mounting arms to the steering clutch housings are worn out on mine and perfect on parts dozer. I went to change them out but backing a hard time getting them out, any ...
