Keeping upper idler rollers lubricated
I'm starting work on the 1955 40C I bought last fall. First item before driving it around much is that one of the upper idler rollers was frozen up. I removed the idler, arm and all. Nothing like getting the grandkids involved at a young age. Had my daughter's 7-yeard-old boy out for a ride a week go on my recently acquired JD 40C. Then taught my son's 12-year-old daughter to drive it this last weekend. They love it! Fortunately, their parents are supportive.
