Re: 350 Reverser Leak
I think the bull nose has been off at least once before since the hydraulic pump is missing the disconnect lever so maybe it won't be too much of a pain. I used that method with the alignment bolts to put the final drive back on and it made the assembly a lot easier. I will probably remove everythin...

Re: 350 Reverser Leak
I have the parts manual and technical manual. I see the gaskets you are referring to. Engine doesn’t sound too bad to pull as long as nothing is stuck bad. I don’t believe there are any other issues with the reverser, occasionally it will shift hard when flipping the reverser. I’ll probably replace ...

350 Reverser Leak
Hello, After repairing the left brake band and the track adjusters on my straight 350, I noticed when pushing brush that I would have power loss, the dozer would stop but the engine was running fine. The reverser oil level was very low so I added quite a bit to it and after a few days, the issue cam...

Re: 350 Brake Band Adjustment
Thank you for the information, however after using a mirror to look into the pack. It appears that the loop part of the band where the pivot pin goes through is broken. I'll run the bore scope down to get a better look but that is probably the issue. Any tips on pulling the final drive?

Re: 350 Brake Band Adjustment
I ran bore scope down the pack and it looks good and dry, some rust down in the bottom but nothing I would find concerning. I've probably ran it for 7-8 hours since I've adjusted it and I've adjusted it twice in that time frame. How hard is the brake adjusting screw (AT 18929) suppose to be to turn ...

350 Brake Band Adjustment
Thank you for adding me to the message board. I recent purchased a straight 350 from a family friend. They rebuilt the final drives, clutches, and brake bands about 2 years ago but very few hours on it since then. The biggest I have came across since purchasing the crawler is that the left brake doe...
