Re: New Track Pad Install - 350 Straight

BTW i broke the wheel off of my lighter GN pulling my 350 home behind the dually, the bed is too high and it put too mu...

Re: Military Surplus JD 350 Straight

dozer is pushing dirt and is dead reliable in starting, still have worries about the right clutch, it works fine but i can tell it is not as effective as the left, just not bad enough to make me tear it down to fix it.

Re: New Track Pad Install - 350 Straight

when do you want to move the dozer? how far do you need to move it? (edit i see outside of Fredericksburg) as to the vfd, if that is a step pully mill (i think i remember it as a step pully) you would like having a vfd on it when using it. it also increases the resale value (for what that is worth) ...

Re: New Track Pad Install - 350 Straight

My 350 came with loader pads, so I ordered 72 of the 12" single grouser dozer pads from Broken Tractor; pretty sure these are made by ITR. I also ordered 300 track bolts and nuts from Broken Tractor; these are stamped "ITR." Here's the process I used: 1. Clean mud/dirt from bolt heads on track pads...

Re: Idler Bolt - Need to Replace

'67 350 straight. Realized today that the idler on the right side was held on with a regular 3/4" bolt and no grease fitting, so it hasn't been getting greased. https://i.postimg.cc/ZYFD5qFC/IMG-6707.jpg The bolt is NLA new, so I'll have to source a used one. A few questions - -Can I just remove th...

Re: weak right steering clutch on 350

I am going to say you do not want to mess with the finger adjustment in place, if you can even get to them. Most anything could have or not been done in the past. What you posted says there are many unknowns of what exactly was replaced before and if the work was done completely and correctly. My t...

Re: weak right steering clutch on 350
