I have purchased many new and used parts from Ed. I have had him pin and bush tracks also. His prices are fair and he is honest. Usually he is in the yard working so it may take a day for him to get back to you. I always go to him first for my parts.

Broken Crawler

Another reason for burning the points may be a bad alternator that over charges. The amp guage should settle down to close to zero (maybe 1 amp) after running a while. Check the voltage at the alternator and coil. Shouldn't be more than 14-15 volts.
