Are there any electronic ignition upgrades that you can buy to replace the points and condenser?
I have 2 JD 40s and want to upgrade one of them.

where can I get replacement stickers for my 40C?

Steering lever grips-$20/each
Are these the original plastic grips? I need only one and want it to match. I also can not figure out how to order.

I know that it is a 6 volt system. It starts like a 6 volt and the dead give away is the 6 volt battery. Would having it charge that high make it run bad? I have tons of power but every so often, say every 10 minutes or so it craps out and dies , after I let it sit for 20 minutes it starts up and go...

What should my 40 be charging? I am getting 11+ volts. Is that right for a 6 volt system?
