justified
Your pic shows all the justification you need. Who doesn't need the ability to dig a "tank ditch". You never know when it may be necessary to secure your perimeter...now where's my tinfoil hat.

LOL!
I come from a long line of loggers. Whenever I see a nice stand of trees I see ... lumber.

Hold on to that cold front, they are rare. I've only ever seen one of them before, that was at an auction. You would never believe what it went for. :) I beleive the rarity has to do with the material they are made from, if you leave it on out in the elements they end up rotting. Over the years this...

"the needs of the masses outweigh the needs of the few" -Spock Something like that anyway. As much as it might hurt people I think in long run a hard recession would be a good thing. It would get people to realign their priorities. As far as the Government is concerned, I say keep the constition and...

Just gimme a minute this soap box is pretty high to get up on. O.K. there now I'm ready. Let's not forget about personal responsibility. I'm 38 and it seems to me every succeeding generation since my grandparents' seems to think it is entitled to MORE, MORE, MORE. In my adult life I have been told t...

generator trouble
I'm hoping to tap into the knowledge tree here. I appear to have a short in my generator. With the ignition turned off the generator makes a quiet crackling sound and the "hot" wire is HOT. The battery goes dead if left connected. It does still give 14.4 volts when running. I've never had anything w...

As someone who grew up in I. Falls MN next to Rainy Lake I found this topic interesting. When I was about 10 we were spear fishing on Rainy when all of the sudden the ice began to crack, pop and bang. We opened the door of the spear shack and saw a skidder, I don't know the size as I was a kid, pull...

bio diesel
Thanks for all the input.
We do work the diesel, pretty much the only time it gets used there is a trailer full of somehting behind it and if that something is horses my wife is driving. Sometimes I think she could drive that thing in the Busch NASCAR series and compete.

This seems like a good place to ask this question, i.e. objective answers. I am getting ready to buy a new, to me, diesel pickup. My budget allows me to get one that is about 3 - 5 years old. I have test driven a 2004 Ford and liked all but the low end torque. It would not break the tires loose in 4...

bellows
In reading this thread I am a bit disheartened. I own a 4 roller 420 I was planning to go through the finals and rollers on. If I need the bellow seals, that amounts to $2240.00 plus tax and shipping. This is without even looking at the finals and the rest of the roller parts. Do the 350's have thes...
