I'll check ebay.
I never did locate the bolt I called you about. Waiting for a JD parts house to call me back. Long wait so far...

I removed the small 6x8" cover on top held on with five bolts. This revealed that the clutch adjustment bolt for the right side was broken/missing. Apparantly it broke and fell down into the hell hole. There are two spherical bushings, washers... ends that were also gone. I tried fishing them out of...

Looks like I'll be digging into it. Local guy says around $1500 plus parts but he's at least 2 weeks behind. I'm heading to the ranch to see if I can pull the small top cover off to have a look. Gonna scratch my new paint...crap. What's the heaviest part and its rough weight? I need to make sure I c...

450 steering question
What is inside the case beyond the shaft that is attached to the steering levers? My right lever was tight then today it felt like something snapped when I pulled it. It still has a return spring feel but it does nothing else. External linkage is OK and I see the shaft turn when the lever is pulled ...

Success!!! The bolts are out. I had another go at it today. I bent a torch tip to get access, heatted the bolt pice as best I could and then tapped on it with a rod. Then I went slow and easy with the drill followed by the easy out. Broke one drill bit off but I was able to extract it becouse it bro...

Yep, its the right side. Both bolts. Left side is good and tight. I found some left hand drills today. Going to try and make an extension for them with a sleeve to keep it centered in the hole. Hopefully they will walk out when I drill. Also, I picked up a piece of pipe for plan "B". Slide pipe down...

digitup, What did you use to get 'em out? They are difficult to get to. The piece of bolt that came out has an odd shoulder. Can I go back with standard grade 8 bolts? I think I know when at least one broke. I was prying hard on a stump with the loader when it finally popped up. I heard a loud crack...

Thanks Country53. The bolt was loose when I found it. So, I am assuming it sheared off due to being loose. It didn't break with me wrenching on it. You sound like you've done this before but, I'm not quite understanding this part: "If the bolt is broke off deep take a drill the same size as the bolt...
