Drive sprocket hitting roller
Thanks guys it sounds like you have me pointed in the right direction. I did noticed some oil dripping onto the trackes and it looked like it was coming out of the seal behind the sprocket. I will check that bearing play tonight, and thanks again for the help. John

I was using my 440 crawler to move some dirt and when I stopped I did a walk around and I noticed that the drive sprocket on the left side was hitting the lower track roller, not hard just nicking it alittle and I'm kind of lost as to where this movement could be coming from. Nick, Had the same problem with the gas tank on my crawler. I found this company the deals in gas tank coatings and it worked great. They shipped it to me really fast and ran me about $50.00. Lavoy, I should just pull the pressure plate back out with the friction plate and send it back where I had it rebuilt and tell them what the problem is and have it done right. Thanks for your input.
