I didn't think of that, i did see a washer in the bottom of there when i was using the flash lite to take the pic. Hopefully getting that set is the only problem.

Missing adjusting screw
While looking to adjust the clutch throw out on the right side of the crawler, the adjusting nut that your supposed to attach the 1/2" socket and speed handle to is completely missing. Is there any were i can get this bolt, or can i get a size and length for it.

Gearmatic 8a Winch
Does anyone have any good pictures of the inside of an operational winch or even better a manual or parts list. I'm going to try and restore the winch on the 420 crawler i got last month. I know i'll be making parts as some are completed pooched.

You probly did these but: - retime - check gaps - plugs,points - check spark at plugs - if fuel is an issue make sure the feed line is running fuel nd that the sediment bowl is clean. - take the air cleaner off, so the carb is open to air - then MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GOOD FUEL, i mean this for two week...

420c Throttle rod assembly.
I have several manuals but none show the throttle rod assembly, the one i have says to refer to the 40 manual. I am trying to figure out how the spring and washers all fit together on the end with the throttle handle.

Muhhahahaha Its alive ALIVE Okay now that the melodramatics are over. I figured out what i did wrong and i think i might have to bash my head for not figuring it out earlier.
