I am looking for a pto shaft and related parts for my 450C crawler loader. It currently has just a block plate where the shaft goes. The JD part number for the shaft is : T20948 SHAFT,POWER

These are JD parts numbers for the loader control linkage on my 450C crawler loader. JD is outragous on these parts, they said some of them are the last parts available. The tag is missing on my 450C crawler but stamped underneath is 281121 . What year would that have been made? Thanks, Ross

Ive been thinking about welding a pipe between the two holes so there would be more contact area. If I can get it centered okay I dont think I would need to build up the shaft or the bore. What do you think?

Here is a link to John Deere parts catalogs. Just type in your model and pick from the results. I like to use the alphebetical results and click on C for clutches etc.

Do I need to fix this now or can it wait until after harvest. I want to use the machine for 20 hours or so pushing small 4-5 inch trees out. It looks like the slop would force the front crossbar to take most of the stress. I dont want to break something but I dont have much extra time before harvest...

I have pulled the track,sprockets and bottom rollers off of my new machine. I am going to replace those parts and I am looking at my rear crossbar. It is worn where it goes thru the track frame and the track frame is worn some where the bar goes thru. Do I need to pull the bar off and weld it up the...

JD 450C crawler loader.

I got the machine home, the 3 point is not factory. The manual I got with it shows the availability of a pto with a lever under the air cleaner to turn it on and off. Mine has a hole there but no lever so I guess it would have to be installed in the transmission. The sprockets are really bad and the...

Anybody know about these? Are they okay? $800 seems pretty cheap for a pair, but what do I know? If Im going to get new sprockets, Id like new chains too.
