PTO or Winch drive???

Hi again guy's, Seems like I am the only one with questions this week. I have a parts manual for my 350 and it shows a different set up for a PTO and and winch drive. I thought that they were the same. I want to modify and attach a small backhoe I have to fit the crawler. Does anyone know if a winch...

Either ????

I was reading on one of the other posts about the evils of either. I recently purchased the 350 that I am working on and the guy I bought it from (not running ) said that he had moved it around his yard just running it on either. I have since got it running on diesel and it seems to run well other t...

350 track removal

Hi All, I have a JD 350 track loader. I am replacing the steering clutches. The right track had a master pin however I cannot find one on the left side. Is this common? Any suggestions as to how to get the track apart? I tried heating one of the links and pounding out one of the pins but with no suc...

If I take it down the mountain side I would do it in the summer months so the ground would not be frozen.

It does have street pads. A runaway crawler is never a good thing. What do you think about winching it down and also using the bucket to stop it if it is to steep? There are lots of trees to attach a winch to.

Hi Lavoy,
Yeh the lake is about 300' deep. My snorkel is much shorter. I am hoping for about 15-16'" of ice. I think my machine is 10-12000lb. Hopefully that would be enough margin.
Thanks

Thanks Neil,
Does it make any difference as per the pounds per square inch. Obviously a track machine coves a much bigger footprint than a wheeled machine.

How steep of a grade can my crawler go down

Hi All, I have a JD350 crawler loader. Does anyone know how steep of a grade it will go down. I want to take it to my cabin how ever there is no road down. (water access only) the other option is to take it across the ice in winter. Any idea how thick the ice needs to be for this machine. Thanks, Br...

JD 350 precleaner CFM

Hi all, I have a JD 350 with the 3 cyl diesel. The precleaner is missing. Does anyone know what CFM the engine draws? What is the engine model? Also can the engine be damaged by running it for a couple of minutes at a time on ether? I want to load it on a trailer, however it is not running (sitting ...

JD 350 crawler loader what year is it? Service manual?

Hi,
I am new to this board. I just bought a JD 350 crawler loader (Drott 4 in 1). Can anyone tell me what year it is and if it is a 350, 350B ect. The model and serial # is T4E3D 074578T. Also does anyone have a service manual that they want to sell or know where I can get one?
Thanks, Bruski
