350c lift pump
Anyone ever change the mechanical style lift pump to an electric one? I seem to be having bad luck with the mechanical ones, the diaphragm keeps cracking and I fill the crank case with oil. Thinking about putting an electric one in its place. I assume I would just need a low pressure pump? Suggestio...

350b track frame shims?
I am installing a new undercarriage on my 350b, I removed the track frames from the machine to make the rusty bolt removal easier with the rock guards and rollers. I am now installing the complete track frame with new rollers. My question is I understand the shims put in place on the rear crossmembe...

350 b track frame wear plates dimensions anyone?
Working at rebuilding the undercarriage on a 350b crawler loader. I need new wear strips on both the track frames for the front idler and wear strips on the front idler itself. Anybody got dimensions for these parts? I just need to know length width and thickness of each, I can figure out the hole p...

John Deere 350b front idlers wanted
Anybody have a good source for new front idlers for a JD 350b crawler loader? I haven't been able to find a set, I bought new tracks and rollers, but I didn't get idlers at the time, thought I could reuse the old, not the case. I haven't tried mother Deere yet, looking for something a little more af...

Thanks for posting what the lindeman went for. I was planning on going to the auction, but I am glad I didn't as my checkbook couldn't handle anywhere near the 12k. Must have been pretty nice.

For Sale 350 Diesel with 6 way blade
Crawler runs and moves but will not steer. Reverser seems to work ok. Tracks are toast. Does have some oil leaks. Blade seems to work ok. Needs an ignition switch as the previous owner used a screw driver to turn the key switch. I wired straight to the shut off on the pump as the switch seems interm...

track frame / cross member bushings 350b
How do you guys recomend repairing the worn out bushings in the cross member holes on a 350b. Do I machine new bushings to the size of the worn holes in the cross member or is there another trick I am missing? I am assuming the bushing should fit snug and the height of the bushing should be such tha...

Still looking for forks
Just wondering if anybody had a set, I remember seeing an aid on C/L for an entire 350b loader with them on in southern Ohio some months ago, crawler did not run but I had to buy the whole crawler, current funding would not allow at the time. Let me know if some one has the john deere factory fork s...

440icd hydraulic pressure & 93 backhoe
How much hydraulic pressure should I have coming out of the hyd pump on a 440 icd with 831 loader? Also does the pump have enough pressure/volume to run a 93 backhoe?

undercarriage
Thanks for clearing that up for me. I have a parts 1010 with a good undercarriage and I am considering buying a undercarriage "challenged" 350b and I thought I could swap the undercarriage as the author of this post asked. I knew I would have to "change/modify" the sprockets but that I thought that ...

If you were to use 1010 sprockets on the 350 the parts won't go across? If the pitch is the same and and pin/bushing diameter is different, sprockets are the only problem or am I missing something?

430c Reverser
Just about ready to open up the reverser on the 430 I am working on. What should I expect? How much $ should I expect to spend making sure everything is back up to where it should be. Are parts available aftermarket or just from Deere? Thanks for any advice.

Lindeman questions
What do I need to look for when buying one? Thinking of heading to Polks and trying my luck, but I would like to know what are the difficult/impossible to find parts to find for a Lindeman?
