backhoe options for a 440
I recently purchase a 440 gas crawler that has the provisions on the back for a backhoe. What model hoe should I be looking for? Is it a 50? or? Any idea what I might be able to buy one for? Thanks.

JD 450 questions
Looking for some information on a John Deere 450. I believe the plain 450 was made from 1965 to 1970, then it became a 450B? Does the standard 450 have dry steering clutches? How difficult are they to replace? I have replaced a couple sets on a 420, but the 450 looks like a different animal. Were th...

Popular Mechanics or Popular Science
I don't know if anybody remembers Smokey Stover's comic strip or not but I remember seeing an article about the foomobile and how to build one in either Popular Mechanics or Popular Science. If anyone can help me locate what issue has the article I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Mike
