Make sure your hose is as large in ID as the tube ID or you will restrict flow. It is likely a #10 (1"wrench for fitting nut), #12 (1-1/4" wrench for fitting nut), or #16 (1-1/2" wrench for fitting nut). Those are the common wrench sizes for those hose/tube fitting sizes. HTH

On line T24778 appears to be a drawing number now. SN 142199 and prior use cylinder AT21866 - NLA, SN 142200 and up use AT36885 - NLA. The Kit for both cylinders is AT27076 and that shows as a good number in the $50.00 plus range.

It looks like the JD part number is R68281 for the bulk hose used to make those fuel return hoses. It says it has an ID of 0.156" (5/32") or 4mm. Any hose used needs to be rated for fuel oil service. Pressure will be minimal as it is an open return to the tank.
