The retaining clamp for the rear track sprockets had been welded on the shaft when I got this crawler so the sprockets can't be removed by them selves. The sprocket and final drive housing is being supported by the lift cart during removable. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh182/jdcrawler/my%20c...

1945 Lindeman restoration

The loader was built by: Mid-Western Industries Inc of Racine, Wisconsin and is model #F-32 Serial #1456. It was built for: Massey-Harris-Ferguson Inc. Lindeman never built a crawler with a front end loader. I built the crawler up to use for driveway maintenance and doing landscaping around the prop...

I built that roller about 25 years ago and I don't remember what the tank is from. I think it holds around 80 gallons so that would be somewhere around 560 pounds when full. It does a good job of packing things down. Originally, I had intended to paint it the same gray as the tractor but there wasn'...

Trailer hitch for the R/T tractor

I used the Rock Rake on the 3-point to smooth out some areas in the drive way the other day ( sorry, I didn't take any photos ). Now I need to get the roller out and pack the gravel back down but there isn't a hitch on the back of the tractor. So I decided to make up one of those hitches that mount ...

I'm trying to keep from asking too many questions till after the final photo. But I had to get rid of the pics to date as they have been slowing me down. Now, since I can't go back and see what I overlooked or what you have said up till now... The bright yellow cap- It just appeared. At first I tho...

Time to start painting. I know there are a lot of different ideas on how to mask wheels but this is what works for me. I take a piece of cardboard that will cover a little more than half of the wheel. Lay it on top of the wheel and push down on the cardboard so the wheel will leave a mark on it. Cut...

The front tires on the tractor were 6.00-12 "rear tires" off an old Sears garden tractor. They are really weather checked bad and have some chunks of rubber missing from the side walls. I want to put new tires on the front so I called around to get some prices and also looked on ebay. I ended up goi...

I picked up a grille from an old Farmall B tractor that needed a little work. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh182/jdcrawler/My%20machines/Bgrille001.jpg If you look close at the photo, you can see the top panel is separated a little at the seam to the center section. As I have to modify the top...

That photo is miss leading. The back of the seat looks like it is right over the battery but it is actually sitting behind the battery. Also the battery was just set in place for the photo. When it was permanently mounted, the positive post is at the front and the negative post is at the back. I've ...

This engine sat under the seat on the EzGo utility cart so the clutch pedal was in front of the engine. The linkage from the clutch pedal pulled the clutch arm forward. This is the original clutch lever arm on the engine. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh182/jdcrawler/My%20machines/22.jpg The cl...

Hi Ken That certainly is a logical assumption on the vibration but I'm not so sure it is a valid one. I built this using the same mounting design as they have on the Economy Powerking tractors. The engine and rear axle are mounted together with a solid mounted torque tube connection between them. Th...

I have a gas tank off a Wisconsin V4 stationary engine that I'm going to use on the tractor. the mounting brackets are made out of 1 inch square steel tube that has one end bent to curve in to the frame. Both brackets are formed and mounted to the tank. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh182/jdcra...

I would like to show you my home made tractor that I built two winters ago. It was posted on some other tractor forums over a period of about 6-months as I built it. All together there were about 45 individual post and hundreds of photos. I'm going to condense this all down so you can still get the ...
