This guy had ignored a registered letter, so I was probably on pretty safe ground legally. Still it probably was a bold move. What got me mad enough to do something like this was, here I am trying to scratch out a living and this was somebody that wasn't hurting for money. I mean if you can afford a...

Joel, I might have alittle different take on this because I am a logging and excatvation contractor. Biggest thing is liability insurance, got to have it or you risk losing everything you own. This is one sue happy nation. You might think your just doing a favor for a friend, but something gets dama...

1010 loader
might have a chance to buy a 1010 gas loader, Before I go to look at it I need some advice. It would be used primarily to load my single axle dumps at my gravel yard. So while speed of loading is not an overriding factor I do need to work at a resonable rate. It would also be used on occassion on jo...

1010 with struck steering clutch
Was told to try this to free up a sruck steering clutch. Run your stuck side up against a tree, one you don't care about. Pull back both clutch levers and let out the foot clutch. Let the track turn against the tree. Only took one revolution for mine to break loose. Glad I talked to this guy before ...

Go to johnnypopper.com/weirddeere. It explains the different 1010 variations, also list serial numbers by date of manufacture. Service manual you want is SM2034, its available from Deere dealers. Not cheap, about $100. Everything in the operaters manual is in the service manual so you can save a lit...

1010 winch
Have the chance to buy the gearmatic winch that was originaly on my 1010 crawler. However it dosen't work, the guy that owned it worked on it, but could get it going. He reassembled it, no parts left over that I know of. So given that the condition is unkown, could be a easy fix or could be a basket...

Thanks Andrew, I go to a conference in Amherst Mass. every August so if you had something that I didn't need right away I could possibly pick it up, any excuse to extend the vacation. I have since read elsewhere that on the tensioners it is possible to recut the groove and use a seal from a 350. Thi...

Hi everyone, new member here, and I have alot of questions.
