Thanks for your help but have yet to check the bypass, will have to bring the machine out of the bush when weather permits. Original post I was asking for a new pump, but as they are not available I would really like a rebuild kit as I have 2 functioning used pumps now. Does any one know where I may...

Maybe there is something else out of whack as Lavoy suggested will have to dig in further when weather warms up, I have both a 40c and a 420w with very slow acting and weak hydraulics. Would you be able to supply me with the name of the guy at Teeswater? Would he do business on phone? thanks Jim

hi digitup thanks for info, are these used pumps and what kind of condition would they be in, I already have a worn pump, I really need either a new pump or a rebuild kit. Thanks Jim

I also live in northern Ontario and have both a 40c and a 420w I put a tarp over the rad to help the temp rise enough to warm the engine up to the 160f range as seen on a good gauge. You will get much better fuel economy also with a warm engine.. Jim

40C steering clutchs Would some one please tell me what the adjustment measurements should be on the clutch at the adj bolt jam nut set up. I have adj by guess and by gollie but now slipping and I would like to do it right. Thanks
