The guy I got the tracks from buys gray market Komatsu and Mitsy's and said most people dont like the rubber tracks so he switches them over. So his buyers get new rails and pads and he has leftover rubber ones. I will get more pics but how do I post them? I will shoot the guy an email to see if he ...

Yes, the rubber tracks have metal rails. The nice part is the inside opening of these "rails" is the same as JD's, roughly 2.125-2.25 inches. The outside to outside of these rails is a little narrower than Deere but that does not mean too much as the rubber track rides on the bottom rollers perfectl...

Here is how this came about. After talking about how expensive re-doing the original tracks were and not being able to drive across pavement I set out to figure how to get rubber tracks on my 420 5 roller. So after a lot of phone calls about rubber track sizes I knew none would work with a totally o...

JD 420C Track Project
OK guys here is a politically uncorrect track fix that some of you may like. I posted up some pictures on ytmag.com in the crawler forum under the same title as above. I did all the math and was able to fit rubber tracks to a 5 roller set up. I would post pics here but I am computer challenged and d...

Aftermarket Inside Mount Blade
I have to offer to anyone who wants it an inside mount blade, ____free___, just to get it out of here before winter. There are no tags or anything that identifies it at all. I honestly do not know if it is an aftermarket or homemade setup. It came with my 420c as extra parts. I can send pictures by ...

430C Reverser Questions
I tore into my 430's reverser and before I put it back together I was wondering if anyone could give me the specs on the thickness of the steel plates and the friction plates? I have the Jensales manual but it does not tell me. My JD 420 manual does not cover this style reverser even though it was a...

Winch For Sale
This is a Heil winch I am selling that came with a 430C that I bought. I thought I would post it here for a while before I put it on fleabay. The brackets are homemade but fit real good and the winch works good also. Comes with the pto sprocket adapter. The seat pan is part of the brackets. I threw ...

Well I picked it u today and the guy had a # 62 blade dug out of the weeds that went with it. The blade is missing the one extesion arm but the rest looks OK. The lift cyl's will need new chrome. I am afraid to ask but if I do not part this out where would I get a grill shell as this one is shot? I ...

No. 62 Blade for Sale
I just got this setup from Lavoy and due to me finding a 430c it now must go. It is in nice shape and all is there except for the valve itself. It only really needs a new set of pins for the main mounting and the blade. I found the right sizes through MSC and made new ones that look like stock for m...

430C-Yea or Nay
OK guys I need some opinions. I found a 430c somewhat near me that is a parts machine but probably better than that if you know what I mean. The 4 roller track frames are junk though. 1 of the front idlers has brand new brackets. Most of the rollers are real tight. 1 of the final drives came from JD...
