350C oil
It's the other way around; the front one, under the air cleaner, is for the reverser, and the other one is for the transmission, steering clutch, and final drives. Everything on that machine, except for the engine, takes the same oil - JD20A or an equivalent trans/hydraulic oil.... any oil distribut...

350 Isolator
Torsional Isolator Spring Problem:
Don't try to get away with replacing just the broken one - replace them all, or you will be pulling the engine out again in a week.
Also, replace the anchor studs if they show any wear at all and be sure to use Locktite on them.

is a winch available for a 350C?
Yes, there were winches made for 350's, but you can't have both a winch and a backhoe on the same machine.

Although I haven't overhauled one for quite a few years now, if I remember correctly (and sometimes I don't) you are supposed to use soap lubricant - NOT oil - when installing those o-ring packings, as at least one of them, swells up when in contact with oil (designed to do that), and would make ins...

It is VERY important to use coolant conditioners in ANY wet sleeve engine... I am always amazed that the owners manuals do not stress that more! Here is a site with an excellent discussion on the topic. http://www.baldwinfilter.com/engineer/00_1.html I installed Coolant Conditioner filters, just lik...

Backhoe attachment question
I'm pretty sure that every detachable backhoe that JD ever made will "fit", as long as you have the backhoe brackets and power-beyond hydraulics on your tractor, BUT, that doesn't mean it's a good idea. :D I've had 350 loaders with models 50 and 9550 backhoes on them and they dig just fine - the pro...

JD 450 B Hydraulic
Does the same thing happen while using the bucket curl or dump function at full throttle? If so, it could be a collapsing, or restricted, suction line between the reservoir and the pump. If it ONLY happens to the boom lift circuit, then it is probably an internal valve problem... (I suspect the lift...

350C oil capacity
From my 350C manual:
- Transmission, Steering Clutch Housings, & Final Drives = 10 US gallons.
- Direction Reverser Case = 12 US quarts.
- Oil used is JD Hy-Gard Transmission and Hydraulic Oil (J20A) or equivalent. Or John Deere Hydraulic Oil (J14C) or equivalent.
