MC crawler for sale

I am listing this for someone else, so I can not really tell you much about it. They are asking $5000. I will add their contact info as soon as I get it.

Herb,
Resistor should only be for dimming the headlights. On an MC, it will control charge rate, but a 40 has a voltage regulator and should not use the ignition switch for that function.

I would doubt that they are the 440/1010 sprockets, my bet would be that they are 350 sprockets. There is no source that I know of or can find US or foreign for the T16259 sprocket.

I can make you a new crank adjustable link for about the same price as just the handle will cost.

Joe,
Just saw this post, sorry.
I have distributors on hand, let me know.
MT and 420 probably will not have any similar parts. MT and MC may have, and I have plenty of MC tranny parts. If you know the gear part number, I can tell you for sure.

I have NOS 420 sprockets on hand, and if you didn't mind cutting them up, you could cut the rim off of them, and then rerim your old late 440/1010 sprockets just like you would do if you switched to 350 rims. I actually have on cut off 420 rim on hand. Someone must have rerimmed a brand new 420 spro...

There is no guarantee that a used engine you buy would be any better shape than the one you have, just is still bolted together. I would rebuild the one you have rather than put in a used engine with an unknown history.

Is there any reason that you can not reuse the old engine?

Should be no problem, I would need to know bearing size and ring size in case it has been bored.
If you want to go deeper into it, I can get rebuild kits with .045 over pistons if you want to bore the deck out.

Not off the top of my head, no, but it would have to be terribly worn to have that kind of effect on things, and you would have noticed that.

Bill, One other possible answer, and I have seen it numerous times. Do you have the axle bearings in wrong? What seems like the right way is actually wrong, the other race has to go on the axle, then the bearing goes down against. Another way to look at it, is the bearings have to oppose each other,...

Actually very little from engine back interchanges. Steering clutces are similar, sprockets are the same if it is a high serial number 440, same with final drive case. Other than some small parts, that is about it.

They are all just a place to start if you are so inclined to do the work. A 420 with a 90 loader will do a lot of work for you. You will be quite a bit more stable if you can find a set of counterweights for it if you work at or close to rated capacity very often. I think you will really enjoy it no...

IF it is a metal faced gasket, I use a copper spray either Permatex or KB.
