I lube it from outside by using kroil then I use 30w. it works. I thought maybe there was a zerk somewhere I was missing. I completely rebuilt the dozer I didn't plan to at first but it became necassary. When I take it apart again(notice I said when and not if) I will probably change the material th...

I lube it from the outside but I doubt it does it much good. Took it all apart 2 years ago and cleaned and polished and reassembled, l...

winter project
I think I read about this proceedure in green magazine a couple years ago . The engine was out of a 4230. One would need to examine prints of engine vs. transmission to make sure. the article never really said what kind of transmission they used. I've seen it done with a IH and a deutz engine bothwe...

It will pull it fine if properly loaded on trailer. However stopping and negotiating turns will be challenging even on blacktop.

I know I want one bad. Lookes at a IH TD-3 and a JD 1010. Can't justify, but still want one or two.

Thanx for the info. My track blocks were worn through, I pitched them. I want to build me a set, but since I got my crawler done I can't seem to quit using it long enough to make it better.(unless something breaks)
