I do not see how you could operate one without the controller. The clutches are hydraulicaly actuated. I suppose if you could jam the clutches so they are always engaged, and then cut or otherwise defeat the brake band, it might work. You would be able to power in, and then you would have to spin th...

Rob,
It was sold, but the guy never showed up, it is still for sale. It will fit any of the crawlers with the quick tach hoe mounts.

On an 8A, the controller engages the clutches to pull cable in, or disengages the brake to freespool cable out, there is no power out position.

To rebuild the reverser, the entire center section must be removed from the crawler. The rear clutch pack is held in by a large nut between the reverser and trans.

The hoes are quick attach, so if you don't need it, just drop it off and you are back to what you started with, only put it on when you need it.
Remember your crawler must be equipped as a hoe crawler to start with or you can not use a hoe.

Given the increased operating weight, a loader will out pull a dozer in most conditions.

My brother has an ANBO grapple on his 350B, and it is about the slickest thing I have ever used. It is only a grapple, and has no bucket whatsover, but if you are handling brush or trees or rocks or whatever, it is great.

2010 rails from a crawler under serial number 42,000 will fit, but will need to be shortened. You have to be careful, many 2010 were updated to larger rails in their life, so the serial number may not tell all.
Disc idlers were an option.

The part numbers for the integral cylinders really don't do you any good. Everything inside of the cylinders is o-rings and backups, readily available at any good hyd shop. Don't worry about the nuts, just use a standard 5/8" NC grade 5 nut. The reason so many pads get loose, is when you have to tig...

Actually it is easier to blow the nuts off, you can get pretty well perpendicular to the rail with the torch, and when done, you can whack the track pad with a hammer, and it pulls the bolts through.

A hoe crawler has a larger hyd pump, a diverter valve on the back of the loader valve box, pressure and return lines to hook the hoe up, and should have the rotating and elevating hoe seat. Also, even though they look the same from the outside, the mounts are not the same. A regular loader crawler h...

If it weighs 4000 lbs, you will never keep the front end on the ground. I have had guys tell me that a 350 is light on the front with one on.
Also keep in mind, if your 440 was not a hoe crawler from the factory, it is not capable of carrying a hoe.

The number you are reading is the loader serial number, not the crawler serial number. The one you are looking for is on the RH front corner of the engine block.
