this 440 would make a good parts machine. the pads look pretty nice. a PTO and a reverser too. one of you guys in the NW better snap this up. :P ,
so what was the purpose with these "treespades"?
well it just sold for 2K and the 450 went for 6k, i think same buyer

condensation problems , this aspect of nature affects gas,fuel,ignition,cap/rotor,the clutches, gauges,bulbs, you name it ,(our old bones). so now for the fix, DONT oil the clutches. and if you warm them up with a torch, be careful to remember that sprays ignite, needless to say, grease and oils do ...

run the break in oil as recommended otherwise improper break in and the rings will never seat resulting in a smoker.

the only pix showing up using your link is the track spring.
there are 4 pix showing in post, 2 of track spring, 2 of bracket,
no gears or anything else in THIS thread, other thread yes,(gears)

fyi another winch price, last fall i looked up a price on a very similar unit (referencing the ebay listing) from the Mfg and it was alot cheaper than 1300.

we have a hardwood called ironwood, which is aptly named.
