Yep, Greenville Steel Car blade. The same model blade as on my crawler.
The blade and push frame do not look to be beat up too badly.
Nice project.

I have used this product before, http://www.por15.com/FUEL-TANK-REPAIR-KIT/productinfo/FTRK/ It works very well, I have used it to repair two tanks that I have on equipment here. One has been in use for ten years, with no re-occurrence of the leaks. The other tank was a basket case with more leaks t...

I vote for the dozer, I have cleared brush and trees with the nieghbors crawler loader with a root rake it works but getting a decent grade on the ground is not easily done. The optimum set up would be a dozer with a root rake and a blade. Rubber tired hoes work but then you run the risk of flats fr...

Another thing I have been told to try in a case like this is drill a hole in the broken bolt and fill it full of weld before you weld the nut on. Supposedly the weld in the hole will shrink the bolt when it cools and allow it to come out easier. Bryce :) Works on bearings too. Gus , a friend...

Spend the money on a good 1/2" impact, I-R, C-P or a Craftsman. I have an I-R that is heavy to use but it will usually remove all but the most stubborn bolts. I do own a 1" impact but it has only been used here once. I lent it to a friend and could get it back anytime I need it but it is too big a p...

HI ! That is great machinist work !! Andre, thanks. I trained as a Tool & Die Maker but never pursued it as a career. I could not stand at a machine all day now for sure. I have to break up the machining jobs into sections, so I do not get too bored watching the lathe run. The mill and surface grin...
