i guess the guys at the phpBB Group (very bottom of the page) need to do a little maintenance on this website. Assuming their the ones who do the computer wizardry stuff!!!

Those photos are older, the crawler looks different now. I have been using it for winching tree length logs for firewood and building trails the past few years. Nothing I have will ever be a trailer queen!!!

May I ask 1954cooter why you want to increase the psi on your crawler? The factory psi is 900-950 with a maximum of 9 gallons per minute, depending on your throttle position, if my memory serves me correctly. Which is pleanty for these old girls!

I just seen that 420 and 430 also use the same drive ......There is one on Ebay $210 or best offer WAY more then I paid for mine on Ebay ....Someone on here has to have one :) :) :) If you are looking the part that mounts onto the motor, I have a extra one for a 420. I can take a picture of it late...

That winch looks like it could be a electric one???

Gearmatic winches are out there but they are hard to find and they will usually need gone thru prior to using it. You will need a model 8a gearmatic winch, controller and mounting plate. Thanks cuttingedge, I appreciate the compliments! Although i did supersize or overbuild some of the steel parts for wear resistance. Its amazing what 28 tons of pressure can do to metal!

I agree with paul, its always nice to hear about other peoples projects and ways of inventing something new to make life easier weather it's a time saver or a back saver! I also just completed a project building a firewood processor but unlike your 80 cords in two days I only do about 10 cords a yea...
