Crawled under the 350B today and I notice the rear weep hole where the transmission bolts up is dripping. Also the loader will not engage in forward or reverse now. Over the weekend, the right track came off and it was a bear to get back on due to the track adjuster being stuck... It seems thi...

350B Reverser Leak
I am losing fluid from my 350B reverser reservoir to the ground I have not been under it yet to look for the source of the problem. Any suggestions on typical locations for an external reverser leak?
Thanks!
Thanks!

She is running!
Well I finally got the Loader Engine back together yesterday after rebuilding the head, new pistons, rings, cylinder sleeves, reworking the rods, and new rod bearings. The engine is running great! It starts easily and runs great! http://webpages.charter.net/3dlights/Pics/gauges-after-rebuild.jpg Tha...

Well - I finally had time to tear down the engine today. I found broken rings on #2 and #3 Cylinders.

LOL - Thanks for the advice LeonardL and I'm glad we are proud Hillbillies! As for getting the machine to a shop, I'll check into that. But I really think I will most likely be doing the work in the field. I'm a little hard headed I guess.... Refer to line #1! :) Seriously, I think I probably have a...

Leonard L -- I was just thinking... You mentioned you thought I could be 360 Degrees out of time on the injection pump? I am most certain the #1 cylinder was on TDC on the compression stroke just before firing. I saw the intake valve open then close as I rotated the engine and found the timing hole....

I do understand the skinning thing. I try to avoid getting skinned at all costs and I wear shoes most of the time too... (Joke - It seems a lot of people think folks from Tennessee only wear overalls, have toilets out back, and wear no shoes) :) I really don't have a good place to pull the engine an...

Thanks! That's great information LeonardL and I appreciate your detailed answers. :D You mention you think I am 180 Degrees out on my timing. I assume you are talking about the injection pump timing? If so, the pump has not been removed and the engine was running before. Therefore, I suspect I have ...

Low Compression
OK, So I just got my new rebuilt head back on the 350B and it still will not start. The cylinder walls looked OK with no scratches, etc. There is a slight wear ring at the top of each cylinder - not bad but you can feel it with your fingernail. I checked the compression today with the following appr...

JD 350B Injector Pump Timing Marks
I have been searching for detailed information on the timing marks inside the Rectangular Window of my 350B Fuel Injection Pump. The pics in the manuals are not much help. I did notice one mark inside the window on the right side with the flywheel timing pin in place. I am a bit unclear as to what I...

Thanks LeonardL
I appreciate the help. I do have the TM1032 (01JUN80). It seems some of the details are left out... Especially about the external timing marks on the crankshaft pulley. Maybe I overlooked it. :?: I was hoping there was some way to check the cam timing without pulling the timing cover and all of the ...

I am needing all timing marks and their location. I think I know where to find the injector timing mark (on the side of the injector pump - under a small plate ??) and the flywheel mark (Use the special bolt - I think it is on the right side of the engine looking from the front to the back - below t...

JD 350B Diesel Timing Mark Locations
Would someone please tell me the exact locations I need to check the timing marks on the 350B Diesel to make sure everything is in time?
If you have pics available, that would really help!
