I just had one off on a 450 diesel with loader and loader was in way 2 bolts hold it on. We ended up pulling engine though, the starter gear came apart and a piece of it jammed in between fly wheel and engine locked it up tight. No problem. When we pulled this engine because the starter gear had broke and jammed a junk into the flywheel which locked the engine. We found the clutch to be a mess. Thats the way the old one was a real slim job. If we put the JD bearing in and its flush with flywheel, tighten clutch housing bolts, engine binds up. Loosen them and engine turns free. I have the service manual and just found the section on the pilot the way it reads it goes on engine side of snap ...

Besides the 4 bolts around the clutch housing and 2 bolts on rear of engine to frame. Are there any bolts in front or does engine just hang there. Have the "nose" off and hydraulic pump off along with radiator. We have the big shop manual but doesnt mention anything about front engine bolts.Maybe th...

Hi Scott; Fluid Iam seeing, is in the little "can" reservior near the radiator.

Seems to help for an hour or so then it goes away. Have plenty of fluid can see it moving around in resivor, no visible leaks on booster cylinders. Havnt checked the pump preasure yet. Anything else that could be. Thanks.
