This is very timely for me...I was just getting ready to post a thread........ This has to ...

I'm going to guess that the other guy will look at the machine and if the undercarriage and the over-all appearance looks good, then he's willing to gamble on the engine......he'll take it home, most likely, and see what he can do with it..... THEN, if he can't get it going, use it for parts or part...

if you are sitting in the seat, under your right elbow.....it's not a spin on...

raise the access panel, it's inside the oil tank...you have to remove several bolts to get to it.....

be sure to get an extra gasket, just in case you tear it......if i remember right...

it won't cost you anything to pull that engine and see what happened..... heck, just pull the pan and giver her a look-see real quickly.... even if you have basic skills, drain the oil, pull the pan.....see what you think... get some old cardboard, cut it to fit between the tracks, slide it undernea...

Long story short, I had to take the injector pump back off and replace an umbrella seal I tore when I put it back on......ran great, backed it out of the garage, shut it off to tell the family i was headed over the hill to work on t...

450C How to change steering clutch oil??

Well, I thought I had it figured out with the book. However, when I went out and crawled under the dozer I saw two plugs but they were on the bottom of the housing. So, I assume they are the drains? Where would the fill be, on the outside of the trans case, in between the tracks and housing? I chang...

450C Steering Clutch oil change??

Yesterday, I changed just about all of the fluids in the 450C. I didn't change the steering clutches because I wasn't sure what the manual was saying. I see the drain plug on the lower part, but the upper fill hole is up where I can't get a funnel to it. Is there a small hand transfer pump that moun...
