Am about 1 o clock on sprocket...maybe 2 o clock...just far enough can get to both sides of pin clear to hammer..2 shoes off and bolted them over pin tite to chain to keep solid

Well the continuing saga..continues.. I was able to grab ahold of the master pin and spun it around not quite 90 degrees...oiled it up a bit...and moves outward and inward easily...until flush with the chain itself...then no go!!...i will try tomorrow to rotate pin a bit more and see what happens..i...

On my 440 i used 5w30 many times....onliest real oil problem i had was that stupid valve cover leaked like 360 degrees all around it...even changed valve cover and new gaskets....just lived with it and cleaned it off occasionally, did not run oil level down just a messy looking engine

All, Still heating; and beating this bitch....i am using old used synthetic oil from my GMC to both lube both inside and outside chain of the pin....also tried apply ice to the end of the pin sticking out the furthest....head... actually put it all way back in to see what end looks like...groove is ...

Well Gents, Bear in mind, remember i said...i sure aint got NO plans of loading dumps truck and moving dirt nor gravel to ANY extent....will be more of the snow crap we get around hereabouts....tho occasionaly i may move some gravel to fill low spots in parking (REPO) lots....probably more like push...

Your loader is different than what is on mine...mine is a 90 loader...if our pic server was up you could see pics of the blamed thing...You can read my ongoing saga of all that i am going thru on this booger...have yet to get to the left steering...been pounding away at the master pin to get'er out....

Well Folks, Was taking a look at my tracks and adjusters....rear outside measures 58 inches front measures 57.5inches... 3 of my adjusters from rear bracket to spring locknut measure 16.5 inches and left inside adjuster spring to locknut measures 15.5 inches.....so that seems to be throwing off the ...

Well to continue.... In order to get the clutch shaft out....the long push rod for the throw-out bearing MUST be disconnected in order to turn the sleeve shaft for clearance... the rod lever on the sleeve has to line up with the hollow at side of housing so that the bushing end of sleeve clears the ...

Well folks believe it or not...the answer is that this booger is now coming apart!! Thanks to one of Lavoys old posts i got clearer understanding of how these come apart....from drivers seat the brake pedal must come off....that solid rod goes clear thru to the clutch pedal....this has to be driven ...

Well it looks like am gonna have to either cut rest of spring loose to see what kind of boss is inside the spring and heat both sides of the spring adjuster nut ...does not seem to get hot enough from one side only...i really don't want to cut the danged bolt to get it out...that torch certainly oug...

well crap....he does have a spring for the track adjuster so will probably get that from him.. So am working on getting the broken spring out....cut several section out so can get ahold of shaft of bolt....i assume the bolt itself has to slide clean out and that the spring adjuster nut must be remov...
