It lets you go forward or reverse in any gear. Real handy in loading loads in trucks or on a dozer when your grading and other things.

I believe that they recomend the strait 30 in the 440 diesel also and from what I here on these engines you want to stick to the 30 weight. But I'm just going by what others are telling me.

Check the return line and filter if the pressure is right i don't know what it is suppose to be but Lavoy will be able to tell you. My 430 was real slow and I put on another return line and it was like a new machine. Good luck

What kind of oil pressure should the 253 run after it has worked for an hour or two. Mine drops almost to nothing like around 10. When i first start it it reads around 45. Thanks

I use it all the time and have a 430 that I have used for years and have taken bolts back off that I have used it on years ago and I don't think you have to worry about bolts coming loose because I have had some trouble getting some of them off. I would hate to think what it would have been like wit...

the reverser was an option but some people when they went bad put a dummy shaft in them istead of repairing them. Lavoy can anser you better when he comes back he's like a walking dictionary on these things.
