You didn't say wether it is the old style reverser or the newer one but if it is the newer one check your fluid level but more than likely you have a bearing going bad.

take off the inspection cover and you will see a bolt with a slot under it right behind the throw out bearing. If you haven't had this part apart it might be hard to break loose. You should be able to pull your steering lever back 1&9/16" inches before the throw out bearing makes contact. on your ot...

A lot of it has to do with what kind of soil you have and what type of trees and what you consider resonable. I took out some tall 10" cottonwoods with oput to much trouble but had a lot of trouble with 6" hackbury with a 440icd

You didn't say if you had a 3 point or a winch on the back but it helps to get one end of the log up in the air to skid them. I know a guy who put cleats on a loader but he kept tearing up the clucthes. It should do what your wanting to do with it as long as you don't expect to take trees of any siz...

I agree with Lavoy that it probably is worth the $2100 since it still has headlights on it and the sheet meatal looks fairly strait other then the breather cap and muffler. Tracts look tight but check the bushings on it. It will be all most impossible to check the bottom rollers out but I have seen ...

1010 guards

I have a pair of guards that bolt on the back of the final drive housing and curves under the housing to protect it. This is on a 1010 and I was wondering if they ever used these on a 440 or not. Thanks for any info.
