Did you disconnect and reconnect battery after a day or so, clear the codes. and see if the same ones come back.

Re: Ripper shank source?

However the one I was going to order, I would have to modify my ripper mount with eye (pin) inserts or bolts.

Re: Ripper shank source?

Yes, Email - leianclews@hltooth.com. Mine for my 450C would be around 250$ each with shipping. Haven't decided yet. I need 2 or three. My attachment has none.

Looks a little rough, I was always one to judge the outside, inside will be the same. Depending on price. Parts are not cheap.

450C Final drive rebuild

Been about a month now. Rebuilt final drive, all shot to hell. 1700$ in parts and 200$ on some tools. Going to install it this Saturday. My brother hauled off our Case 485 for clutch work. He forgot we were going to install the drive. :x :x . Now have to do with with pullys and winch with a pipe ove...

Re: 450 C Final Drive

And yes your final drive will be filling up from wet clutches. I would pull off final drive. and over haul it, inspect bearings etc. al...

Re: Final drive sprocket bearing 450C

The answer was right in front me yesterday after i posted. The old Bearing sleeve. and using a 3 1/2" pipe extender. I thought the pipe would have worked but it was to large and would have pressured against the bearings and destroyed them. However, this weekend I will attempt the bearing install on ...

Final drive sprocket bearing 450C

OK everyone, I have a press. before I jump at it, installing the large bearing on the axle shaft. wondering how those of you have done a bearing this size did this one. Been trying to get a pipe that would fit over the shaft down on the bearing without messing up the bearing. That size of pipe is ne...

Final drive

almost ready to re attach the final drive to main frame. Do I need to use a sealant for final drive to main frame or is it metal to metal contact. The pinon shaft might leak ?
