I have had good luck with NAPA they found me a rebuilt gen for my 430 for the same price as om line and i dident half to pay anny shipping.Be shour you get a seasond parts guy because the info willnot be in the computersystem,its in the books that are under the counter with an inch of dust on them.

My hydrolic cylinders are leaking and I dont just want to repack them because the rods are dinged up.any way to fix them,rechrome them maby?

Thanks for all the advice. I talked to my machine shop and they will clean up my rockers and valve stems for $40.Not to bad.At least I will know its done right and i can get an accurate valve adjustment.

Hair dryer worked great Thanks.To bad I pulled the head to check the cylinders,owell live and learn.I did notice alot of wear on the rocker arms and valve stems.The manuel said to grind the rockers flat to get an accurate valve adjustment.Im not sure i like this idea,the valve stems are still dimpled?
