Ken,
Shame you didn't buy a pretty place to live! All kidding aside it truly is beautiful. The color is pretty nice here in MO this year as well. I'll try and get a picture up before it is all gone. Thanks >>> Leonard

I'd say you found them dude!! It certainly won't hurt to remove them to see. The parts break down says there should be two of them.

The 3179 engine is out of a early D model that was re powered with a new engine. This was done at the MDCs Springfield shop and I didn't have much input on the job. I'm going to look at it today though and see if it has possibilities. I was never told why the engine was replaced. That was done sever...

First I want to say thank you to all of you for welcoming me to this forum. I am looking forward to hanging with you guys. Most of my tenure with the state of Missouri was spent with the Missouri Department of Conservation. So... to answer where all that JD350 stuff went to... It was eventually sold...

I need to say up front that the 450s are not my specialty. However, I ran into this same issue on a 400G once. The only difference was it was the right side doing what you are describing. The fix came with proper adjustments in the linkages. The steering valve wasn't allowing enough pressure to full...

Every 350B I was ever around had fill plugs. They were sometimes covered by the brackets for the draw bars. But they should be in that general area on the side that faces the clutch housing / transmission. Some had a front and rear plug so that no matter which side the final drive was mounted on, th...

Glenn, I will assume you are talking about the vertical mounted shaft that your throw out bearing is pivoted by. There are a couple of possibilities that I have ran into. One being the shaft is frozen by rust in position and wont allow it to rotate. The most common thing is a damaged tube that the t...

Allow me to introduce myself

I figured sense I have just arrived here at Lavoys wonderful message board, I would take a minute to introduce myself. That is if anyone cares to know, this is me. My name is Leonard and I am new to this forum. Sense joining I would like to thank Lavoy for allowing people like myself to be a part of...

Ken P, I like the way you think! We should run for congress! We could start our own party known as the "Deere Party" and have this 350 as our mascot. That is of course depending on whether we ever fully determine what it is... is it a B or a C. My son responded to this by saying we should just call ...

I'm sure this is a very early 350C. First thing I noticed is the Tachometer, that's for sure a 350C Tach. Then, if you look closely at the second picture you can make out the three "Brake Anchor bolts" again only a C or a D would have those. The track pads are kind of scarey! I guess if you are in s...

350C steering clutch issue

Another possibility for your issue is the O-rings under the steering valve. There are 4 O-rings that seal the steering valve to the Transmission case. There is a square hole in the case positioned so you can check the Ring gear for proper lash. I have had these O-rings leak Reverser oil directly int...
