Found a pto shaft but on the end that mates to transmission inside gear housing looks like a cotter pin or bolt goes on that end .wondering if it’s as easy as all going in from rear . I’ll have to pull parts book and see what it shows .

Adding PTO to 420C
Hey guys was wondering on a 420C that has lever already up beside gear selector how much is involved with adding PTO shaft from rear ? Is it just the rear housing swap with hole for shaft and shaft itself or do you have to spit tractor ? Thanks George

40c fenders without dimples ?
I just brought home a 40c and noticed the fenders do not have dimples like my MC's ? These definetly look factory but am wondering why there are no dimples like all my mc's have? did deere change these fenders on the 40c? The parts book I have for 40c does not show dimples for part number am 2383 t ...

40c from 3 roller to 4 roller serial #
Does anyone know what the last serial number was with 3 rollers and then the first with 4 rollers? Im trying to figure out how many 3 roller vs 4 vs 5 were made. Thanks
