Re: Has anybody managed to setup alternative Sway chains for 440 3 Point Hitch?

Sway chains would have to be attached at the same pivot point as the arms and move with the arms. That is where my JD wheel tractor is attached. About a foot inside the arms attaching point. They have turn buckles and don't allow much movement. Sometimes I even have to loosen them to attach an imple...

A long time back, people used to use 8V batteries. They still available? Still used in 6V equipment?

Re: John Deere Crawler Literature and Memorabilia

I have never seen a gas pedal. Anyone on here actually have one? I would like to see photos of it and where it goes. How it attaches.

Re: It's coming together, part V, hybrid 3 pt hitch?? DONE!!!!

Side note on the 3pt.

I have been using it for several years and it has worked great. I mainly use it with a mower but have had a post hole digger and a blade on it. It is strong enough to easily lift the back of the crawler off the ground.

Re: 430C 3 Point+blade

My hydraulics are all after market. I do not have a float position on the valve. I tried to find an old post with photos showing it. There's a series when I was rebuilding the 420. 7 parts to the series. Search "it's coming together" by Gus and it will come up. I think the last 2 parts were "it's to...

Re: 430C 3 Point+blade

I put all new valves. 6 way blade and a 3pt, plus an auxiliary line should I need one for an implement. That's a 5 spool setup, all new. I've used every one of them.

Crawler loader junker

Craigslist in Wenatchee WA, listing. It's been sitting for a very.. make that VERY, long time. It looks like a worn out 420. Mud silted in on the tracks. Oil filler hole open. Does have loader and ripper.

"Was told it was running when parked"😂😂😂😂

NOT mine or any connection with it

How are you doing? Hope the worst is behind you.

We are just about as isolated as we can get and still get something to eat now and then.

That's why I try to keep my fuel tank full. Eliminate the condensate when wet weather and temperature swings hit in fall and winter.
