Another Jinma project
I guess I'm in the acquiring project mood. There was a CraigsList add for a Farm Pro 2425 for $1250 last night. It's a younger sibling to my Rhino. It's a four wheel drive but has a three cylinder diesel instead of two. A brand new fuel injection pump and injectors were installed February 2019 and i...

Re: Little Rhino tractor
I cant find my valve spring compressor. I think it is hiding out in the garage in Texas. I got to get the rest of my stuff from there and sell it. I can't live there anyway because it is so remote (84 miles to the nearest Walley World). While there are multiple heart trans plant centers in Texas, it...

Re: 450C Back Hoe Attachment Mount
If you try welding the hole under size to re-drill and tap, you may want to put a plug into the bore that wont be eaten away by the welding to give a surface you can easily work with (not lumpy). A carbon plug could help but could cause increased carbon at the surface but that would be cut away. It ...

The 1010 Loader is home!
I made the first trip with the F350 with the 7.3 IDI engine today. The repaired oil cooler did it's thing and the front wheel didn't fall off on the 184 mile one way trip to bring the loader home. My trailer trailer goose neck deck over that's 32 inches high and doesn't have ramps. So, the guy I bou...

Little Rhino tractor
In the last load of the move from the North West to Alabama there was a Rhino 224. It's one of those Jinma made small diesel tractors, two cylinder with around 22 hp and four wheel drive. There is a Koyker loader on it too. With in a couple days of unloading it I put the box blade on it and attacked...

1010 oil filter adaper
Yesterday I started the process of getting a list of materials needed for when I get the 1010 dozer going and the 1010 loader too.The dozer is diesel, the loader is gas but was originally diesel. Having read a fair amount in the various areas here, it was made plain that the manuals are required. I ...

I'm nearly ready to retrieve the 1010 loader
There has been progress in getting ready to haul the 1010 loader home. Yesterday the repair and installation of the oil cooler for the 7.3 idi engine in the '93 F350 was finished and paper work completed to import the truck into Alabama from Washington was completed. The Tag Office isn't seeing anyo...

Re: Steering levers/T-handle
If you want to build up bulk on the handle, you could use some of the shrink fit product and finish with the dip for surface texture. I have used some which heated to a sticky surface inside for adhesion and had terrific shrinking capability with very thick wall when done. Definitely not the run of ...

Washington to Alabama move
I used to live in the Washington north west, 80 miles north of Seattle. My Wife retired and had had her fill of the area and wanted to move, maybe to the southern hills of Missouri and I was thinking east Tennessee. My wife didn’t want east Tennessee again and Missouri wasn’t working out. Our son an...

Re: 6 wy blade rebuild
I erred with the P/N in the later section with the part search and I tried it with only the prefix "U" using both upper and lower case with the "10438" with it not found. There were several several options for parts without the prefix with none being what I need. Would this rod end have been an off ...

Re: 6 wy blade rebuild
I went onto the JD web page for parts and got a few part numbers for the parts I'll be working with. I didn't expect to find the sector, tilt, angle frame and sector, tilt, blade (official names for the two of the crescent shapes shapes I couldn't name well) to be in stock but hoped for finding a pr...

I sorry I misunderstood your response when I contacted you concerning manuals Lavoy. Partial knowledge can provide misleading comments. I'll try to be more careful in the future and allow you an opportunity to give a good response.

Re: 6 wy blade rebuild
I am using an old Acer Chrome book with the Chrome removed and a Linux variety (GlaliumOS) installed to make it a useful computer (I don't like having to be online in order to use any programs such as spread sheets and word processing). My phone (an old Apple 5s on AT&T) is used as a hot spot (somet...

Re: 1010 Crawler Foot Brake
I just tried to get manuals from Lavoy for my 1010 and he sent me to eBay. His supplier either doesn't have them or he doesn't like what they offer. He did say "Do NOT buy any I & T manuals unless you need something to start the woodstove, they are garbage."

Close but no cigar. At least the links work. I have more learning to do.
