They look great Al. I think the 16 gauge will work great with no problems at all. Mainly there to keep it from sliding around.

Thanks guys for all the input. Radiator cap is 7 lbs new from deere. So I pulled the cap off and coolant was a couple inches from top. I measured my beat up tool tray today and it is 7 1/8 wide, 22 1/2 long, and 2 7/8 tall. Also from looking at parts catalog the board goes in with the hole towards the back. This is out of a 1974 450B.

There's a 450b on Ebay that has a tool tray that is built a little different than Stans. May have been different styles built.
