The tag says 450CA 208336T , which on the FAQ section appears to line up with a 74 450C.

I'll have the little crawler in hand tomorrow after we pick it up so I'll be able to start looking it over alot closer.

I spent some time doing more research, should I be worried that the serial tag is faked if it does not have the rops brackets? I've not found a 450C yet that does not, and all the literature shows them on. I understand someone might take the rops off but cutting the brackets off where it joins the l...

Just to be clear my post was a little vague, this is a loader machine.

By the serial number should be a 74, I do not think it has any mounts on it but they are not delivering it till Friday.

I've made a deal to purchase a John Deere 450c, the only bad thing is does not have any ROPS. I'm calling around a few places, does anyone know if a 450 straight blade dozer and a loader OROPS would inter change?
