I'm assuming you mean between the hub and the axle? If so, I'm also assuming you have a 3 roller crawler?

Re: Need pictures of back of 1010 crawler loader hydraulic quick connector for backhoe
If it is a hoe capable crawler, there will be 2 large lines coming from the diverter near the valve body. If it is not a factory hoe crawler, there will be no lines or diverter.

Whichever is lighter I would guess. I just always use corn head grease.

I've been out of the office a lot due to a death in the family, but have 14 hours of road time every week, so just leave a message, and I will call on the way back home.

Part number should be on the pump.

Can't find it, but it is 74 at the end instead of 72.

Re: JD 350C Brake bands
Very highly unlikely that someone can reline the wet brake bands, but it's possible. Usually you don't see many rebuilds on the wet clutch crawlers, so if yours are worn, you may have other underlying issues.
Price you are seeing on bands, and the freight seem high to me.

Re: JD 420c Crawler Hydraulic System
I would GUESS that your setup would be at 1500PSI which if I am correct would explain the lack of power. Flow is another factor, you may be down on flow and pressure both.

Re: 420C Rubber Tracks?
There is a set that will work on the 440, figure about $4000 for the conversion.

Re: JD 420c Crawler Hydraulic System
Probably not enough info to give a real accurate answer, would need more info on factory or jobber hoe. But the short answer is if it is already at correct operating pressure, increasing it will just break things. If capacity is not enough, then you need a larger hoe, not more pressure.
