Go to the JD parts catalog and look up 350 and 350B. Use "exact model search". Look first at the reverser handle.

If you have not taken the clutch discs out and cleaned them then a new throwout probably will not solve the problem - they are rusted together. If you have and it still will not disengage it is probably because you put all the discs in on the snap ring. Some go behind it, and this is not clear in th...

I have a winch. Came off a straight 350 now sold. Present 350 has no PTO. Never used it and don't know what, if anything, it needs but removed from dozer when dozer was sold.

Bolts are probably 5/8" x 1 1/2" NC Grade 8 and the pan should be in front and rear parts. Flat and lock washers on most and four or more have nuts. The captive square nuts in the side frame (front section) are prone to rust and seizing, then spinning. Be ready to burn off bolts, take off the side f...

You do not say, but I assume it will only turn to the right, which means the left side clutch is not disengaging. The first thing to check is adjustment. Pull the drum bung at your left leg's calf (when sitting in the seat). Adjust the throwout bearing so that it is just barely not touching the clut...

Worth nearly that much at scrap yard. If the engine is not stuck and holds water and oil (separately) it is worth it. Of course, that assumes your labor will be free.

Believe it or not, you can get enough air leakage around the throttle butterfly shaft to give you these symptoms. You should replace the shaft, packing, plug (cap?), and bushings, although replacing the shaft and the packing (with retainer) may get you by. Replacing the bushings requires a reamer.

Start at idle. Any throttle at all will be translated to full throttle by the governor. Starting with excess fuel will wash the oil from cylinder walls. Not good. It should hit on all cylinders. Don't goose it until you see good oil pressure.

The long wear plates are very hard, as you will see when you grind off the old weld. Lots of fun welding the back weld with the frame still on the tractor. The inside and outside plates can be softer since they can be seen and are easy to replace. Your old ones should have removable shims for adjust...

If you're lucky you can tighten the nut to about 900 ft lbs and get back to work. But I would break the track, remove the sprocket, and see if the sprocket and/or axle needs to be replaced. Tighten the other side too. You will need to break the track regardless to make sure the sprocket lines up wit...

John Deere parts catalog PC0619 covers the 50 and 51 hoes. There are different diverter valves and splitters depending on the application. I see a relief valve in all the selector valves, and this would be my first suspect. If you disconnect the high pressure line quick-connects with the selector se...

Does the engine load when you operate a backhoe valve? If it does then check the quick-couplers on the pressure and return lines. If that doesn't fix it then look at the nylon balls in the valves. They can wear and wander.

You don't mention model, but I don't know of any where there is something else to remove save maybe a dipstick. You may have a bent shift fork or shaft out of position due to a bad bearing. Follow your manual.
