Re: 350C Cross Country Travel

Having tracked a 450c track loader about 5 miles on the grass edge of a road (and back at the end of the day) with a couple of frozen track segments, I can guarantee that your back and neck will hate you for the next few days following your 30 mile trek. Lots of Aleve and rum and cokes helped me. If...

Re: 450 Fluids, engine manufacturer and paint

I have a 450C and a 9300 series back hoe attachment. The back hoe is a beast that will dig thru just about anything. The down side is that it is very heavy. The machine "hobby horses" when tracking along although a front bucket full of rock helps. If you don't need the full capability of the back ho...

Re: Weighing out options--Which dozer should I buy? A 450, 450B, or a 350?

I have a 450C track loader. The "C"s have the oil filled clutches as previously mentioned which are better especially if the machine will sit unused for extended periods of time. One thing no one has mentioned, if you are tall (I am 6'5") you might fit better in the 450 operator station. Also, commo...

Re: My 450C in action

The lights on my 450c track loader work but with the big bucket on the front they don't do much good.

Re: 450C injection pump issues

I recently had my injector pump rebuilt by these people http://www.bkdiesel.com/shop/roosa-master-injection-pump/ Quick service, helpful and from what I have heard not overpriced. Buy the "Umbrella seal tool" and give them a smear with diesel when you replace them and thread the shaft back into the ...

Re: Back hoe attachment

I have a 9300 back hoe on my 450C track loader. The machine is very tail heavy with the hoe on the back. The hoe is a brute, will dig almost anything. There are 2 different hydraulic pumps for the machine the larger one is if you have the back hoe. You will need the mounting adapter and the bottom m...

9300 backhoe valve question

Hello all: While using the backhoe attachment on my 450c track loader the boom function became very sluggish and jerky. It also wanted to float up while digging unless a little down pressure was applied before dipper in. Other functions (stabilizers, swing, dipper and curl) appear to operate normall...

Re: Another fuel problem 450C trackloader

There were several things. The cam for the HP side was in backwards (one way for clockwise rotation flip it for ccw) There was something else that they explained that I did not fully understand.

Re: Another fuel problem 450C trackloader

Hello all: Did not want you to think that this was an ask and run. Long story short, I bought a complete rebuild kit for the fuel injector pump, carefully disassembled the pump, installed the replacement parts and reinstalled the pump. No joy. Removed, repeated the disassembly, inspection and reasse...

Re: Another fuel problem 450C trackloader

Scotty: I did the air compressor trick on the line to the fuel tank, no improvement. How difficult is a remove/replace and repair for the self destructing, mouse turd producing governor ring? There is no rebuild outfit near me (Bahamas). Are rebuilt injector pumps available for less than a king's ra...

Re: Another fuel problem 450C trackloader

Looked at fuel injector pump today. The pump is a Roosta Master #108435MD (as best I can read from the metal tag on the pump. In my search for "Mouse Turds" I removed the small rectangular inspection port, center bottom, held on by two slotted machine screws. The chamber behind the cover was filled ...
