Typically I would say it is an adjustment problem. If the crawler will move, it is engaging the clutch, but if it won't snap over, that usually means that the clutch pack is adjusted too tightly. Sound like the reverser if you have one, or could be engine clutch.

They are a direct bolt up setup, have not priced them lately, but somewhere over $300/each I am guessing.

Normally for sleeve o-rings, there is a special lube you user, I think it may be called liner lube. I am sure there are alternatives, but I don't know what they are.

As long as they are both the 3 piece pump, there is no difference.
