Pulling pins isn't an issue for me. The problem is moving the blade once the pins are pulled. That blade is a heavy sob, moving it by hand don't work to well. Pulling it or pushing on a stump or another piece of equipemnt works okay, but if you are by yourself getting the holes lined up to put the p...

Did find some threads on this. They all mention the sliding bracket as a weak point. Got a couple ideas to tighten it up and strengthen it like Ray suggested. On the angle, was going to use the cylinders for moving it in and out. Still use the pins as I don't thing the cylinders would take the shock...

converting a manual blade
Want to change the manual blade on my 1010 to hydraulic using off the shelf components like from Northern or Tractor Supply. Anybody done this? Any thoughts and advice? Think there was a thread on this awhile back, but have not be able to find it.

I love a good rant. Charlie Reese was right we need to vote them out, BUT WE DON'T. If we keep voting the same clowns into office we got nobody to blame but ourselves Don't remember who said it butwhen it comes to political office, "the fact that a person actually wants the job proves they are fit f...

I know this subject has been brought up several times. But here we go again. How do you get a response from this guy? I gave up a long time ago, but now need some parts for an International, so against my better judgement thought I would try them again. Other guys on this site have dealt with them, ...

Lavoy makes a good point, mood of the inspector makes a big difference, and so does yours. If you give these guys, or ladies any attitude they can make your life hell. Don't have to kiss ass just be polite and cooperate. When I drove over the road and and now with my own equipement I always remember...

I use a 1010 in my excavation business, not daily, but often. Remember that it isn't big machine. You can't bull your way through something like you can with a 450, you have to work with it and with it's limitations. I run all older equipement. I have acess to a couple of very good machinists and a ...

350 parts on 1010?
Have a lead on a 350 parts machine. Will the six way blade, winch and log arch fit on a 1010?
