yep pto engages like a dream. the input shaft gears can only go on one way as do the power shaft gears.

okay i will try turning the 1st / 5th gear around...the manual shows the shift collar to the rear of the case. the 3rd and 4th gear have a collar that slides between them and its just not alowing the 4th gear to clear the 5th gear on the input shaft. i have the bearing and race in on the power shaft...

You can tack on the shanks with the 60 series rods and then do the remaining welds with the 7018 rods. Have rebuild numerous excavator buckets along with a bucket on a Cat 992, did it all with 7018.

So does the M4002T case that was a replacement for M3552T need the modification?

hmm.... good to know i will have to keep that in mind. i'm always seeing tractors being parted out.

oh its already been established that she IS pushing some dirt with this dozer. My wife and I are expecting a little boy within the next month, i was watching some videos on youtube of jd crawlers and the baby started kicking. So of course now everday I have to play it for him and he just kicks away....

by looking at them it seemed to me at first glance this would be from improper shifting. bearings are all in good shape.
