filler plug
can you fill using pipe/channel with the dip stick? if it is like my 350c ,you have to use this to fill. 10 gals takes awile but it works. if you put a bent wire in to provide a breather space and then put a funnel in the tube it goes much faster. dd

3 balls steering valve housing
Cat, i was figureing the same since they seemed pressed in place and you can see a channel that is oriented horizontally through the bottom of the spool channels at the front of the housing, just rear of the seal. at first i tried to replace those seals without taking the housing off the machine, bu...

brazed reverser cooler line 350C- 3 balls steering housing?
folks, thanks for your help. got to business and was able to repair a leaking reverser cooling line on the 350C. wound up removing line, cleaning and then tightly coiled about an inch of 14ga copper wire around the leak, heated and added some flux and then brazed. holding pressure well with no leaks...

brazing leaking reverser cooler line
hi guys, i have a slow leak on a reverser cooler return line right where the lines are held down by a bolt by the firewall over the reverser housing. i have some compression fittings to repair this leak, but that will push line significantly out of alignment. i was thinking of just removing line, cl...

Hey guys. i trust you are all well. i had my 350C steering valve housing out of the unit, since it seemed darn near impossible to replace the valve seals properly without removing the unit. a few questions...does anyone have advice on how to get those seals replaced without removng the entire housin...

350 not starting
dont overlook the nuetral safety circuit even if it jumped out. it is normally open so if it is shorted somewhere it could give you intermittent problems. it should be easy to hook back up and when the wires are off the switch, it pops out of the trans housning real easy. you can pull the switch, fr...

reverser filter
Totally agree with KenP, a manual will save you a boatload of time. Not sure about the 350d, but the filter should be at the lowest point in the reverser. cover is removed by 4 bolts. look under your reverser on right side of machine. NAPA carries these by me. they are paper and get gummed up in a h...

Hi guys, Got to my maintenace last weekend. changed all fluids and filters. Warmed it up good ,pushed 8 ft high snow and ice banks for an hour to really work it. After doing reverser oil and filter first, then did the trans, so cold steering clutchs still had ice in them. Put a space heater on them ...
