lavoy can you e mail the price of the shaft to me? also the man that owns the dozer is wondering if he could cut two couplers to make make one,he says his is fine and if he could get a course one he would cut it and weld it back together, he says this coupler is between the trans and clutch drivesha...

lavoy do you have a input shaft for a 1957 420? serail# 111376 fine spline.. trans is broke ,got spare trans,but spline was coures would,nt fit thank you

ran my brothers cat d3 out of fuel, tryed to start it for about four hours i tryed everything to get it to run no luck, gave in went and got friend who owned a garage, dozer was running in ten minutes he bleed the line that was the longest to the shortest, fired right up! i thought i knew alot until...

rusted bad

the bolts on my track frame are rusted bad, no doubt that they will break off easily if turned , should i break them all off ,then try to get out, or just leave them alone and hope they dont break while playing around with it?

im not sure if steel is going out of sight where you live but here in maine people are scraping anything made of metal,this includes many bulldozers,i seen 4 dozers in one yard to be cut up! one was a cat d7 that was running and offloaded driven to scrap pile and shut down. my friend got 800$ for hi...

i looked at taking it off ,it went from front to drawbar, this thing was thick had some dents, looked like more than i wanted to tackle, sold spare dozer to friend at work,hope i dont need it,hope he can use it,,,thanks. Eric

im getting ready to take my 58/420 dozer apart it will not turn left or right can someone please give me a rough guess on a complete clutch set for both sides. i would like to put all new in it since it will be apart.. thank you Eric...

the dozer i want to keep has a small skid plate that covers just the engine it is a 58 ,420,,,i have a 57 dozer with a full skid plate from front to rear, i cant see how to take it off, it has brackets that hook to the cross shafts , it looks like the dozer frame is in the way, if im just playing ou...
