does anyone know of way to put the spring clips back on after adjusting the pressure plate? i think harry houdini would give up on these things... thanks Eric...

chain in final

randy, when i got my 420 it would not steer so i took a piece of 3/8 chain and tied it to a tree and the dozer trying to free the clutches up, this didnt work, i had the inspection covers off to look inside, i put the chain on the fender and pulled away from the tree, thats when the chain fell into ...

thats a really nice looking 420! im not sure of an asking price but with the outside angle blade and the winch, this is what alot of people look for, the track pads look great to,all that together with the canopy make for one sweet dozer! you may be sorry that you had to sell it..wish it was mine. steering clutches

i have new metalic clutches for my 420, when i unwrapped the steel disc they seem to have something on them i would guess to stop them from rusting. does this get washed off or is it part of having metalic cluches? i would guess wash it off but didnt know if it was something to brake new clutces in....

hello.. i can save you guys a lot of time and money on a one wire altenator.all you have to do is get a chevy alt, take the two small wires with the white plastic end on it and hook them to the post marked batt on it, than run a good sized wire from there to you ignition switch,then just go from you...

tigerhaze, my friend scrapped his 440 that was all running for 800$ it was a crawler loader, he sold a 440 dozer earlier when the prices were low and said he got alot less, both of these ran,i wish he would have sold them to me but he diddnt, i seen alot of equipment this summer in the scrap yards, ...

dont worry about it being plastic, a skidoo snowmobile lives in the cold and they dont break there fuel primers and they must have check balls because a snowmobile wouldnt run sucking raw fuel into it, these would cost ten to twenty bucks at most,,Eric

hello im not sure if this is what you need but i have had a ton of snomobiles that have had primers on them, you could go to a snowmobile shop im sure the would have one dirt cheap the older ones had them. they mount in the dashboard and all you needed was one or two pumps this put the fuel into the...

i have another shaft but the splined end looks like someone tapped on it a little, i pulled the first shaft out of the clutch hub with my hands, the spare shaft that i have will not pull apart with my hands, should i be able to? thank you.. Eric

sorry for so many questions! when i pulled the sprocket off my 420 dozer i found out that the axle can be moved in and out freely, it is not alot but when i move it in the axle can be lifted a little, when i pull it out it thightens up, is the bearings worn or do i need to shim it up a little? thank...
